IITB - MOOD I - Rock Show

Went for the IITB Mood I Rock Show on 25th....
Wore this Megadeth T-shirt, and funky accessories, only to realize the other girls in my department were not turning up, and the guys came in their fav checked shirts, or spiderman t-shirt.
Anyways, within 5 minutes they had gotten over their shock (and I had gotten over mine :))
and we had quite a lot of fun.

There were 5 bands in all -- the first 3 were BORING.
next was ZERO - they were awesome - the lead singer had AMAZING energy - I went completely crazy, "sitting" with my friends and "head-banging" like there was no tomorrow :)) Parikrama - the band was sort-of better, they had more "well-defined" personalities on stage, and they played amazing songs - "But it rained", and "Yellow" by Coldplay, but honestly not much of the head-banging type of numbers. Had attended Parikrama 4 years ago in RAIT - and trust me, they have improved drastically in the past 4 years.
Got up and stood with the crowds for the last 3-4 of their songs, it was awesome - the energy was contagious.

Now, I have sprained my neck (all that head-banging), and couldnt move at all yesterday. Slightly better now, so am sitting in front of the comp, completing my compilers assignment, and writing this of course.
My friends of course think I'm crazy cause I'm in so much pain, and yet have plans to go next year.... but ....... :)

Got my compilers 1st assgt marks today - below the class average - sort-of depressed now...
Back to assignments.....

Attended a lecture today on "Self-Referential Systems" where a guy from some New York University, wearing a "I love NY" cap, explained why a system cannot try to explain its own properties, without getting into trouble. He used set theory for most of his lecture, saying that even high school students would be able to get most of what he was explaining - I couldn't :((....

Anyways, at the end of his lecture, he gave this example :
"This is an unprovable statement"
Now if this statement is provable, then it is also a false statement, and hence it cannot be proven in the first place, leading us to a contradiction.

This implies that the statement must be TRUE and UNPROVABLE, thus proving the EXISTENCE of statements that are true, but cannot be proven to be true.

It got me thinking "Is this one way of looking at and believing in God - someone who is true (exists) but cannot be proven to be true?"
It was one of the only times in my life when I considered the possibility that God may exist - Blew me apart by the logic ......

I must say - Logic Rocks !!

This is my first post.
Starting a blog is supposed to be a happy event I know, and I'm supposed to be all excited about it, but today is one of the rare days in my life when I'm all depressed (without a reason that too).

I've always believed that the best thing about me is the fact that I'm so easy to please - always happy, always enthu about life - don't need a reason to feel happy - I just am.

Today I'm looking at the other side of the coin - sad, lonely, depressed without reason.

It's a beautiful Sunday evening - I have been invited to a walk by friends, dinner by another guy and yet I'm feeling oh-so-lonely.

Going to go find a reason to be happy.....

A long relaxing bath should do the trick...
