An old friend googled me and found my web-site, and this blog. This is for him.

An English professor wrote the words, "A woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.

The men wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."

V v old, but .......appropriate.

  1. (I came here from orkut)
    How about punctuating feministic words?
    woman = wo-man
    female = fe-male
    she = s-he
    mrs. = mr-s
    madam = m-adam

    of course, there are words like lady, girl, her, mother etc. which are not extensions of male counterparts. but i seriously think its males who bring up these words most of the time.
